The "InterNet" fascinates me. How billions of pages can all somehow link together (especially since the search era) is mind-blowing!
I mainly teach Math's. However, I realise that emerging generation(s) need ICT/computer skills. So, in lessons, when designing websites, and im many areas of life, I try to use computers to make things interesting.
Including the site you are currently on, I have helped design the following web sites:
I enjoy designing, and improving websites. MC85 (this site) has gone through many revisions; you can see the very first two one-page wonders (and how I've developed) below:
A (hermit) hobby of mine is working on W3Schools' massive range of self-help classes/tutorials. I have done HTML and bits of XHTML, CSS, Java and Flash; and keep trying to learn more as and when I can...
Whilst I paint myself as an "improving amateur", I do have a skill/quality (sorry to boast) that I feel is very important in this field, and that is "attention to detail". The mantra "The Devil is in the details" couldn't be more true than in web-design.
W3Schools has taught me how powerful DWT and CSS files are, whilst "tweaking" a site, as they allow you to keep site consistency and make changes site-wide fairly quickly - meaning I can concentrate on the client's needs better, rather than having to focus on the itsy-bitsy things of web-design.
If you want someone who can:
... I'd welcome the opportunity to discuss your ideas/needs further.
